“Electronic Document Vault”
Starting July 1, the Maryland Department of Human Resources will begin accepting certain documents in electronic form from nonprofit human service providers, including their articles of incorporation, bylaws, organizational charts, human resource policies and procedures (and changes), staff credentials, governing board lists, and last fiscal year financial audit. The electronic document vault was initially proposed in legislation promoted by the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations (Maryland Nonprofits), which is working to expand its usage by other state agencies.
