Facebook launches new platform specifically to support the work fo Non-Profits and Charities.

Recently, Facebook expanded its Facebook for Business offering to include a dedicated platform for Non-Profits. Nicola Mendelsohn, Facebook’s VP for Europe, Middle East, and Asia, made the announcement on the new platform itself.

Mendelsohn shares Facebook’s mission to “make the world more open and connected.” They recognize that “you and your organisation can use Facebook to educate supporters, inspire advocacy and put people at the center of the issues they care most about.”

Alongside the platform, Facebook has launched a new guide to help Non-Profits take advantage of all their features. Though many of the features may be well known, further exploration into its analytics tool, Facebook Insights, could prove vital for Non-Profits looking to strengthen their relationships with their supporters and better convert followers into donors. To help your data analysis and more, Facebook is also offering one-to-one Facebook support from an in-house expert.

Furthermore, they have published useful case studies from the likes of SOS Children’s Villages Finland, Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Be sure to check it out, and we hope this helps your Non-Profit better get to grips with the data that comes with Facebook, and how it can help develop your relationships.

Be sure to get the most out of Facebook’s new free resources, and for further updates, you can like their page Non-Profits on Facebook.
