DCSL Book Proposal Workshop September 28th (Virtual Event)
The Digital Civil Society Lab is hosting a book proposal workshop from 9:00 – 10:00 AM (Pacific) on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Overview
Have you ever wondered what makes a book proposal successful? Whether going through a university press or trade publication, navigating the book proposal process can seem like a daunting task. The Digital Civil Society Lab at Stanford University invites all practitioner fellows and post doctoral fellows to join us as we learn from experienced authors and editors who have gone through the process and supported other authors along the way. We’ll be joined by Tara L. Conley, who will be facilitating the event, along with Brandeis Marshall, Elizabeth Branch Dyson, Marcela Cristina Maxfield, and Richard Narramore. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions and receive tips and resources*.
