Taner Kodanaz leads DigitalGlobe’s Seeing a Better World™ Program, a commitment to leverage geospatial technologies and services to address significant global challenges. He works extensively with global development organizations, including United Nations, World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy to catalyze and implement strategies that support developing countries and that reach people who are most in need. Taner is a recognized thought leader and explores high-impact solutions that drive actionable outcomes that address Food & Nutrition Security, Infrastructure Development, Environmental Sustainability, and Human Rights. Prior to DigitalGlobe, Taner was head of Philanthropic Alliances at Promethean, a global interactive technology company where he created and executed novel strategies for leveraging philanthropic partnerships with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
