WordPress announced it is creating a comprehensive core policy, plugin guidelines, privacy tools and documentation on GDPR compliance for self-hosted sites using WordPress.org. WordPress.com websites can find more information about the law as well as plans for GDPR implementation for WordPress.com developer, Automattic, here. WordPress developers joined a WP watercooler podcast and “deep dive” follow-up discussion in April to help users understand and prepare for the new regulation.
